Mitsubishi Electric’s innovative intelli-HEAT® dual fuel system works with your conventional HVAC furnace and ductwork to improve energy efficiency, reduce carbon emissions, and maximize your comfort. The system not only provides superior heating performance, but also turns your furnace into an air conditioner, offering powerful cooling during warmer months.
*Mitsubishi Electric air-conditioner and heat pump systems should only be connected with ANSI-Z21.47/CSA2.3 certified furnaces
Set it and forget it
Eco-efficient performance beyond the thermostat, the Intelligent Switchover changes between electric heating and gas furnace-provided heat. When indoor temperatures are not maintained in a specific time frame due to extreme cold, the system switches to the gas furnace heating automatically to ensure consistent comfort.

intelli-HEAT® dual fuel system works seamlessly with your existing gas furnace to intelligently determined the best means of heating your home during extremely cold conditions.
