Heat pumps vs heat recovery
With a VRF heat pump system, all indoor units must operate in the same mode, heating or cooling, at the same time. Comparatively, a VRF heat recovery system offers simultaneous heating and cooling, independently controlled. VRF heat recovery systems deliver higher efficiencies, utility cost savings and greater zoned comfort. Mitsubishi Electric offered the industry’s first two-pipe VRF system with heat recovery’s most important benefit: simultaneous heating and cooling.
