Mitsubishi Electric US, Inc. Cooling & Heating Division (Mitsubishi Electric), a leading manufacturer of Zoned Comfort Solutions™ and Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) cooling and heating systems, announced the promotion of Michael Sanok to director, residential business, Northeast Business Unit.
In this role, Sanok is responsible for developing and implementing the Northeast Business Unit’s residential strategy, overseeing the sales and marketing teams and ensuring residential business goals and initiatives are supported and executed. As director, Sanok works closely with the U.S. management team to develop a strong residential strategic plan and achieve overall sales and operation goals. Additionally, Sanok acts as a liaison between customers and all other functional departments within Mitsubishi Electric.

Sanok brings more than 20 years of sales and management experience to this position. Previously, he served as residential sales manager, Northeast Business Unit, Mitsubishi Electric, where he organized dealer development and increased distributor sales team engagement. He also assisted in generating regional brand and dealer awareness through sales and marketing campaigns. Launching market and channel development strategies, Sanok achieved record sales in the residential and light commercial ductless and Zoned Comfort Solutions market. He has previous HVAC industry experience as branch manager, northeast distributors and as marketing director, heating and air quality products. Sanok earned his BSME from Clarkson University, Potsdam, New York, and an MBA in Marketing from Syracuse University, Martin J. Whiteman School of Management, Syracuse, New York.
