What is a heat pump?
A heat pump is an energy-efficient heating and cooling system that is installed outside of your home and connected to an indoor unit. It moves hot and cold air where you want it, depending on the season.

The cleaner choice
Heat pumps use electricity, while furnaces are powered by the burning of fossil fuels, which contribute to toxic fumes inside your home and release carbon into the environment. All-electric heat pumps can reduce fossil fuel use, while potentially helping you save money in energy costs.
Inverter technology
Mitsubishi Electric heat pumps use variable-capacity compressors, which fine-tune the fan speed to reach a set temperature with the least amount of power required.
Conventional compressors turn on and off to meet the set point, causing large temperature and energy swings.
Our Hyper-Heating® INVERTER (H2i®) uses an enhanced compressor system to deliver heat even when outdoor temperatures are as low as -13º F.
